Yep..I'm starting work in 11 hours time. I just figured out that I'll have no life once I begin work, cos it takes up almost 12 hours of my everyday life including getting up and transport. It's like half of the time I have in a day..and taking away bedtime I'll have 4 hours to myself?
Four hours.I do hope my colleagues will be nice..and not those kind that love to rush people to finish their duties. And they must be patient..friendly..humorous......
I sound as if I'm looking for a husband there.
Announcement: to all who will be around dhoby ghaut during lunch time, please come look for yours truly for a time of catching up and gossiping. Because I predict meal times will be lonely, since there's only one other temp staff there and I haven't even met her.
Anyway, I really hope the people there are nice lah. Work will be taxing enough and I don't want to find myself dragging my feet to work every morning.

My parents just showed me an article about accountants being high in demand. Yeah..the "hui ji shi" means accountant. For the benefit of those who didn't nkow, I got a lecture from my parents when I told them I was considering life sciences. A few years ago they wanted me to be doctor, and now they want me to be an accountant. I'm like half psycho-ed by them that it's hard to earn a living as a researcher or scientist now, cos singapore is like wooing foreign talent, especially people from china with phds (according to my parents). And now, with this one full page article on accoutants and auditors, what else can I say?!
Maybe after working in the bank for a few weeks I'll come to a decision whether I'll accept banking and finance stuff as my future.
